Who has believed what we’ve said?
Who has seen the arm of the Lord revealed?
The one true life born among the dead,
born to live and die, fate already sealed.
Beautiful in life, but humbled on the cross.
He was despised for His own perfection,
suffered many sorrows and loss
Surely He has borne our griefs,
And carried our sorrows, carried them away.
Yet we still esteemed Him not,
smitten and afflicted with a price to pay.
Still He died for us.
Prayed and loved and cried for us.
He paid the price for us,
was pierced and was chastised for us.
He was born to die for us,
to be buried and to rise for us.
Conquered hell and death for us,
opened not His mouth for us
(Oh, oh, oh)
Yet we all like sheep have gone astray
Forgotten Him and turned to our own ways
By oppression and by judgment He was carried away
The Lamb led to the slaughter while we go our separate ways
Still He died for us,
Prayed and loved and cried for us.
He paid the price for us,
was pierced and was chastised for us.
He was born to die for us,
to be buried and to rise for us
Conquered hell and death for us,
opened not His mouth for us
(Oh, oh, oh)
We are the sheep.
He is the Lamb.
We are the sheep.
He is the Lamb,
We are the weak.
He is the strong,
We are the free.
He is the cause.
By His stripes we’re healed.
We have been set free.
He was broken on the cross,
cut off for you and me
It was the will of the Lord to crush Him,
put Him to grief, but He shall see.
He shall prolong His days,
The will of the Lord will prosper in His hand.
Still He died for us.
Prayed and loved and cried for us.
He paid the price for us,
was pierced and was chastised for us.
He was born to die for us,
to be buried and to rise for us.
Conquered hell and death for us.
Opened not His mouth for us.
(Oh, oh, oh)
